How to claim papers on ADS

Go to ui.adsabs.harvard.edu and log in
Click the ORCID icon in the top nav bar → authorize ADS via OAuth
Go to ORCID settings → fill in your affiliation and all name variations (K.-M. Aye, Klaus-Michael Aye, K. M. Aye, KM Aye, etc.)
Toggle ORCID mode on (ORCID button in nav bar)
Search for papers below → check boxes → click Claim in the ORCID Bulk Actions sidebar
Claims index within ~24 hours → your orcid:0000-0002-4088-1928 query will pick them up

Bulk claiming is supported — select multiple results and claim in one action.

Once you’ve claimed papers on ADS (allow 24 hours for indexing), re-run:

env ADS_API_TOKEN=your_token python scripts/update_bib.py

The newly claimed papers should now appear. Compare entry counts to verify.
